SalamWalakum Osman,
I personally enjoy the class and actually have arranged my Monday's to ensure my attendance. May all like make this Dunya and the Hereafter easy on you, your family and ALL the many teachers that have taught you.
I have few questions that need your help: 1. Is one of the key methods of ensuring a Hadith is "True" is its comparison or reflection with the Quran. Another way of saying it, can a Hadith ever conflict with the Quran?
2. There are several Hadiths that seem not to make sense or seem odd (at least from a lay person or from our society). An example, No one should remove or pluck hair from their face. If a fly falls in your drink push it in since it contains poison and goodness. How does one refute them or simply accept them as a lay person?
3. Finally, there seems to be Hadiths that were made specific that are now utilized as for everyone. call them fabricated Hadiths, but they are so famous - Get or travel seeking education even if you travel to China, Heaven is at the feet of the Mother. This two are samples that I understand that are not "real". Can you help me understand?
Peace and blessings,
Mokhtar
